How Laser Scar Revision Works
We use Fotona’s Er:YAG fractional laser to gently resurface scarred tissue by creating controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This triggers the body’s healing response, breaking down fibrous scar tissue and stimulating new collagen production in the treated area.
The result is smoother, more uniform skin texture and reduced visibility of the scar.
For discoloration or redness, the Nd:YAG laser may also be used to reduce vascular and pigmented irregularities.

- Treatments are performed in-office and take about 30–60 minutes

- Visible improvement typically begins after the second session, with continued collagen remodeling over time
- Most patients need a series of 3–5 treatments for optimal results
